It's been a little while i know so here's an update..

I haven't been doing much lately. I miss my husband like crazy!! Reality has really sunk in and it's a huge slap in the face. Life now is nothing but constant worry and the feeling of being lonely. Derek makes everything about my life feel comfortable and seriously without him i am a lost cause. I have no desire to do anything anymore... i need him badly ........DEREK- I LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART BABE. **MUAH**

To all my beautiful friends and family- Thanks for everything that you do for me. You all are the reason i get thru my days. Love you guys**

Here's what i've been up to: job hunting, tanning, cleaning, bill paying, a little bit of shopping...basically just trying to stay busy. Derek is away now  I have gotten to talk to him a few times during his stops on the way there, so thats helped a little bit. The only thing that is getting me by right now is having faith in him ( i KNOW he is a very strong man and he has a good head on his shoulders and will get thru this). It's just the waiting part that is so hard. And i dont even want to think about the time.. i mean look at me now and it's only been a couple of days... only 6 months to go then 6 more after that...uhhh the hell life brings!!

On a lighter note... I've been havin a little bit of fun.  I went shopping with my mother in law yesterday and found some really good sales so thats always a plus. And tanning is always fun for me lol < lame i know. I just feel better about myself when i tan.

hmm not much else has been going on with me so until later..... *CIAO*

Life...I wish I could say it's easy, I think anybody would. BUT we all know it's far from it.

Derek leaves in a matter of days.  I've done the best that I could to prepare myself but i've come to realize there's really nothing I can do to do that.  Before, I always thought to myself " I can't imagine how those families feel" , and now here I am in the very position i dreaded to think about... My husband is going to war.  I'm petrified, I'm breaking down. But I need to stay strong. I just have to keep myself busy, stay surrounded by my family and friends, and pray. Uhhh this situation just sucks.

On a happier note..

 I had a wonderful time with Derek this weekend  We didn't do as much as the last time I was there but this time was still very special to me. I got there around 3 on Friday and I was a little suprised because Derek wasn't off base yet so i checked into the hotel myself. (A little angry I must say). But I was really suprised when he finally got there and handed my a dozen roses and tons of chocolate :)  Gosh I love him! (We celebrated Valentines Day early for obvious reasons). Basically we just layed around and made the most of our time together. We did watch the superbowl, tons of fun ..WAY TO GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!.... and we did have a little drinkin party with his buddy and his wife who was visiting too. All in all i had a great time with my fantastic husband
